My 2026 Gilded Jade Event Guide for Whiteout Survival

I’m going to walk you through how I handle the Gilded Jade event in Whiteout Survival. This is the big Lunar New Year celebration, and if you treat it like a simple daily login task, you will probably leave free rewards on the table. I’ve made that mistake before. The event is built around Frostjade, a special currency you earn from several connected mini-events and then spend attacking the mythical Nian. The trick is that most of the individual events that produce Frostjade can finish a day before the main event closes. Because of that, I always keep at least 3,000 Frostjade available for the last Daily Chest Reward.

Attack of the Nian Is the Core Loop ⚔️

For me, the heart of Gilded Jade is Attack of the Nian. You spend 20 Frostjade to strike a Flamehorn Nian. Each successful attack gives you 2 Treasure Points and a Flamehorn Slayer’s Chest with random loot. There is also a 20 percent chance after a Flamehorn fight that the Nian King shows up. That is where the real excitement starts.

The Flamehorn Nian itself is not too scary if you have enough Frostjade. But you never want to spam attacks without knowing the daily math. A normal attack costs 20 Frostjade and gives 2 New Year Points. Hitting 300 points in a day unlocks the Daily Chest Rewards. That means you need 3,000 Frostjade per day to complete that goal. It sounds simple, but you also want to keep some Frostjade for the final day.

The Nian King Changes Everything 👑

When the Nian King appears, I slow down and read the battle flow. You can engage it between 3 and 15 times, and there is a 10 percent chance it lasts for 10 or more attacks. Defeating the Nian King can drop the Nian Nemesis Chest, which is much better than the normal Flamehorn Slayer’s Chest. There is also a Nian King Treasure tied to how many blows you land.

The rarest piece is the Prize Pool trigger during extended fights. The overall chance is only 0.06 percent, and your Prize Pool Rate is influenced by Prize Pool Points that increase over the event. So I do not chase that outcome. I treat it as a nice surprise.

Another mechanic I enjoy is Lucky Strike. When it triggers, your attacks become completely free for a limited number of hits. The catch is that Auto-Attack only runs while you stay on the event page. I usually park myself on that screen when Lucky Strike is active so I do not waste the free hits.

Lucky Spring Battle Pass 🎋

Lucky Spring is the battle pass side of Gilded Jade. You earn 2 Gilded Points for each Nian attack, and those points push you through 21 reward tiers. If you miss a reward, it gets mailed to you when the event ends, which is very forgiving.

Completing the full track requires 1,680 Gilded Points. Since every two points cost 20 Frostjade, you need around 16,800 Frostjade to clear everything from this track alone. That is a lot. I do not try to clear it purely free unless I have been hoarding speedups and gems. If you spend, the Ripple Romance pack costs 4.99 and the Gilded Blessings pack costs 9.99. They can help but they are not mandatory.

Kasia’s Wish House 🏮

Kasia’s Wish House is the part of the event where I feel like a kid pulling wishes. For five magical days you earn Wish Vouchers by completing commissions or buying Wish Packs. Even if you miss the wishing deadline, you have a short window to exchange vouchers at Kasia’s Shop.

Every wish fills a progress bar toward a bonus reward, and each wish gives Wish Points. You can spend those points on a Sincere Wish, which is a guaranteed hit on a Mythic corner prize. Dream Marks from wishes can be redeemed later. When the event ends, unclaimed Commission and Milestone rewards go to your mailbox. Leftover Wish Points convert into Sincere Wishes at a rate of 100 points per wish, but anything below 100 resets. Wish Vouchers and Dream Marks carry over, so I do not waste them.

King of Spring Multi-Stage Event 🐉

The King of Spring is a seven-day event split into daily stages. I like it because it rewards actions I was already doing anyway. Each stage lasts one day, and you claim rewards based on points. At the end of each stage there are ranking rewards, and after the whole event there are total ranking rewards.

Here is the stage breakdown I follow:

Stage Main Activities
1: Power Boost Construction, research, troop training or promotion, recruitments, hero shards
2: Beast Slay Rally Polar Terrors, kill level 1-30 beasts
3: Hero Development Recruitments, hero shards, speedups
4: Train Troops Training troops of various levels, promotion difference
5: Hero Gear Essence stones, hero exclusive gear widgets, gems
6: Gather Resources Wilderness gathering, power raising
7: Chief Gear Chief gear score, speedups

From the personal stage rewards I expect up to 11,900 Frostjade, assuming around 1,700 Frostjade per stage except Stage 4. The final day includes Universal Shards and Mythic general hero shards, so I try not to slack on the last stage.

Symphony of the New Year 🎵

Symphony of the New Year feels like bingo. You complete missions on a board, and finishing a row or column unlocks a stage chest. Completing the entire board gives the Verdant Reliquary.

You can earn up to 2,400 Frostjade by finishing the missions, and another 2,600 Frostjade by buying the connected pack and completing the puzzle. Some missions include fighting 20 Arena Challenges, raising 300,000 power through troop training, making 60 Alliance contributions, recruiting 30 heroes, claiming 60 Alliance gifts, spending 1,000 Chief Stamina, raising 8,000 power through construction, claiming 15 online rewards, doing 15 intel missions, gathering 10,000,000 resources, using 2,000 minutes of speedups, providing 140 Alliance helps, hunting 5 Polar Terrors, and buying at least one 4.99 pack.

That list is long but manageable if I spread it across the event.

Top-Up Benefits and the Panda Fury March Skin 🐼

Top-Up Benefits reward purchases. I am careful here because it is easy to overspend. The big prize is the Panda Fury March Skin, a permanent cosmetic that changes the look of your marching troops. In my alliance chat it is one of the most requested items.

Pack contents can vary, but the general tiers include a 5 dollar pack with a Scarlet Lion name plate, 20 Lucky Hero Gear Chests, and 1,000 Frostjade. A 10 dollar pack may include the name plate, 40 chests, and 1,600 Frostjade. A 20 dollar pack can include 90 chests and 2,200 Frostjade. Higher tiers offer more chests, Frostjade, speedups, and resources, but the efficiency is not always linear. Lower-tier packs sometimes give a better ratio of Lucky Hero Gear Chests to Frostjade.

Jade Quest 💎

Jade Quest is where I scrape together extra Frostjade from regular game actions. You can earn by slaying beasts, gathering resources, spending gems, and using speedups.

Gems and speedups are unlimited sources but the gem exchange rate is not great. Gathering resources is capped at 3,000 Frostjade, and slaying beasts is capped at 7,000 Frostjade. I still do the capped stuff because it is free value.

My Final Frostjade Strategy 🧧

If I put it all together, diligent free-to-play participation can produce more than 24,300 Frostjade from the connected activities. That does not mean I clear every track. I prioritize daily 300 points for Daily Chests, keep 3,000 Frostjade for the final day, use Lucky Strike windows properly, and decide early whether I am buying packs.

The Gilded Jade event is generous, but it is also layered. I treat King of Spring, Symphony of the New Year, Jade Quest, Lucky Spring, Kasia’s Wish House, and Attack of the Nian as one connected economy. Frostjade is the fuel. Save it, spend it at the right time, and do not let the last Daily Chest slip away.
